The Children’s Center for Neurodevelopmental Studies in downtown Glendale is looking for a part time Van Driver to join our team. We are a small non-profit private school that serves children with Autism and other Developmental Delays. The job consists of driving a school van to pick up children for our School Program, After-School Program or for various school trips. These van trips can range anywhere from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm depending on your availability. Ideal candidates will be motivated and physically capable (lift over 45 lbs., and be able to move comfortably) to work with high behavioral individuals. We are looking for individuals to work Monday through Friday. Retired candidates welcome. Must love children and have patience. $12.00 p/h
Candidates must have the following to apply:
Must be at least 18 years of age and have an Arizona Driver’s License. Must have a Fingerprint Clearance Card for working with children (issued by the Dept. of Public Safety). Must have a CPR/ First Aid card. Must be willing to undergo a background check and a drug screen. Candidates should be reliable and dependable and physically capable (lift over 45 lbs.) in order to work with high behavioral individuals. Ideal candidates should have “Article 9” training and “Prevention and Support” training, and/or be willing to go through these trainings (we can assist training). Must have High School diploma or GED. Must have 3 written letters of reference.
