Our Learning Environment

SCHEDULE A TOURCurriculum, Behavior Support, and Parental Involvement
We use evidence-based curriculum such as Unique Learning Systems, Freckle by Renaissance, and principles of Structured Teaching TEACCH Method. For those students who require behavior support we use Applied Behavior Analysis strategies in the classroom. Academics are provided based on the student’s instructional level and data is collected weekly to determine student progress toward Individualized Educational Program (IEP) Goals.

Community Based Instruction is a program that takes high school aged students into the community, where we work on numerous social, life, and functional educational skills.

Differentiated Instruction techniques are utilized in daily educational programming to accommodate the diversity within the classroom. Differentiated Instruction is a key component to assist in the development and learning needs of all our students.

Sensory Integration techniques are highly individualized for each student. SI is a critical piece to the learning process. SI helps to manage the much needed sensory input that the students require.
