Job Description:

Job Description: Children’s Center for Neurodevelopmental Studies seeks a Special Education Teacher for middle schoolers with autism and developmental disabilities to design, organize and implement instructional programs to help achieve goals and meet needs. Position duties include collaborating with parents, teachers and healthcare providers, writing individualized education programs and meeting with parents to discuss programs, keeping records, assisting with student transitions and choosing educational options and supervising and mentoring teaching assistants.

Requirements: B.S. or higher in Education, Special Education (or foreign equiv.), combined with state certification or licensure in Special Education, ID, Cross Categorical or Moderate to Severe Certification. Applicants must also pass state criminal background check, drug test and have Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, current CPR/First Aid Card and Crisis Prevention Institute training.
